Mr. Gilberto S. Ocañas is
Chief Executive Officer and President of WinTex International, Inc.,
the parent corporation of Ocañas
Printing Company. As a Texas certified minority owned HUB
business, Ocañas Printing provides nationwide commercial printing
services prints the Texas Lottery and kits the Texas and Missouri
Hunting and Fishing License.
Gilberto is President of The Ocañas Group, a business consulting
service that provides a range of quality management consulting services
to clients in both the public and private sector.
As President of Intelect, an international election company, Mr.
Ocañas is able to use his 20 plus years election experience
in representing Diebold Election Services in Puerto Rico, Mexico
and the Dominican Republic in providing election solutions to their
specific needs.
A native Texan who earned his B.A. degree at the University of Houston,
Gilberto Ocañas has used his education and wide business experience
in fulfilling many roles in providing knowledge and service to government
entities at a national level and to the local community. In 1995,
Mr. Ocañas received the Business man of the year award from
the Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and he has been profiled
in Hispanic Magazine as well as the Austin American Statesman.
Mr. Ocañas is married to Ana Margarita "Cha" Guzman,
the President of Palo Alto Community College in San Antonio, Texas.
Together, through their business, political and government service,
they work to develop educational opportunities and economic empowerment
for those within the community.
