The Ocañas Group was created by Gilberto S. Ocañas
in 1993 to provide a range of quality management consulting services
to clients in both the private and public sector. Since the
beginning, The Ocañas Groups mission has been to assist organizations
in design, implement, evaluate, and improve their corporate image. Betty A Burris works with Ocañas Group in strategic public affairs event planning, development and execution. She has also focused on diversity development for governmental agencies and corporate entities. She is the Vice President of Texas Association of HUBs (Historically Underutilized Businesses) and past Vice President of Habitat for Humanity, Grayson County. Her past experience includes working for Texas State Representatives, a Texas State Senator, Texas Government Relations for a large corporation and political consultant. Betty works with government and non-profits in partnership to build relationships and develop communications. She is effective in getting the job done and brings valued experience to Ocañas Group.
